Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for products offered by Nomad State FZCO ("we," "us," or "our"). We want to keep things simple and fair.
1. Subscription Cancellations
If you have an active paid subscription (such as Community Manager at $99/month), you can cancel at any time. Here is how it works:
- Cancel anytime — There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees
- Access through the billing period — After cancelling, you will continue to have full access to your paid features until the end of your current billing period
- No partial refunds — We do not provide pro-rated refunds for the remaining days in a billing period after cancellation. You have already paid for that period and can continue using the service until it ends
- No automatic charges after cancellation — Once cancelled, your subscription will not renew and you will not be charged again
2. Free Products
Products offered free of charge (such as Stop the Spam and the Nomad Ops beta) do not involve any payments, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using a free product at any time by simply not logging in.
3. How to Cancel
You can cancel your subscription in two ways:
- Through the product dashboard — Log in to your account and navigate to your subscription or billing settings. Follow the prompts to cancel.
- By contacting us — Send an email to hello@nomadstate.org with the subject line "Cancel Subscription" and include the email address associated with your account. We will process your cancellation within 1 business day.
4. Refund Exceptions
While our standard policy is no refunds for partial billing periods, we understand that exceptional circumstances arise. We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis if:
- You were charged in error (for example, after a cancellation was already processed)
- You experienced a significant, documented service outage that prevented you from using the product for a substantial portion of your billing period
- You were double-charged or billed an incorrect amount
To request a refund, email us at hello@nomadstate.org with details of your situation. We will review your request within 3 business days.
5. Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase
- Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated
6. Chargebacks
We kindly ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company. Chargebacks are costly for small businesses and often take much longer to resolve than working with us directly.
If you have a billing concern, please email hello@nomadstate.org first. We are committed to resolving issues quickly and fairly. In most cases, we can address your concern within 1–3 business days.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers.
